This 5-day therapeutic alignment vinyasa (TAV) yoga immersion offers a potent blend of daily yoga & meditation practice in the beautiful island of Bali, Ubud.

By moving the body in and out of a variety of different postures and holding still in them, the whole body is re-calibrated; a process which involves the whole of the body and mind. The effects of yoga are very expansive and profound. Most immediately they give back to the body the capability to move freely and effortlessly, at the same time focusing the mind, while bringing a vitality and enthusiasm for life. Enhancement of muscular activity, respiration, circulation and digestion will give benefits physically and psychologically, leading to an enhanced sense of wellbeing, confidence, and self-esteem.
Yoga works on the immune and nervous systems enabling us to deal with the daily stresses of life. We can begin to calm down on a very deep level. As this happens we begin to see more clearly the true nature of things. Our judgement improves, we become more conscious of our habits, actions and reactions. With this in mind - yoga can also improve our relationships with others and ourselves.
This retreat is designed to challenge and nourish your body - mind through a sequence of movements, Asana, Vinyasa, Pranayama, and Meditation.

Everyone! The only requirements to begin this practice is an ability to breathe and a beginners mind.

Restorative yoga workshopSunday 19th January 2014 (10am-1pm) with Fela AdebiyiRestorative yoga is a therapeutic style that uses props to support the body, encouraging deep relaxation. Using passive yoga asanas we let our nervous systems shift and enjoy the benefit of true rest. Different from more active styles, we will concentrate on surrendering our weight to supports and softening into the stretches. This helps us to relieve the effects of negative stress encountered in daily life, and can be highly beneficial in times of fatigue, illness, and emotional strain. Our focus will be to calm and nurture ourselves on all levels during the class. Music and aromatherapy enhance the experience, encouraging a total sense of letting go. The conscious relaxation techniques taught can be used outside of the yoga room as well, encouraging us to take our practice off the mat and into the world. This sessions is for all levels including pregnancy and most injuries.
The aim for this workshops is to nourish and replenish… Gentle poses will warm and open the body, exploring Pranayama ~ breathing techniques, some Mudra and Mantra and finishing with a truly indulgent Yoga Nidra, which is a guided deep relaxation for mind and body helping to relieve stress and bring about a sense of well being.
